Below you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our pet boarding, pet sitting, dog walking, and other pet services. If you have any additional questions please contact us.
Pet Boarding FAQ
A: Our dog boarding facility is located in Auburn near Black Diamond and Flaming Geyser State Park. Please contact us to make an appointment for a visit.
A: Yes, we are licensed and insured through Pet Sitters Associates.
A: We are a kennel free, home-like environment. The number of guests per night is kept to a minimum to insure a quality experience for all.
A: Yes we love having visitors. We set up meet and greet appointments for you and your dog(s) by appointment.
A: All dogs must be spayed or neutered to be a candidate for overnight care.
A: No. All dogs are required to pass an informal temperament test at the initial “meet and greet” at no charge. All dogs must be well socialized and enjoy spending time with other dogs. Visits are by appointment only.
A: We are able to cater to the individual needs of each dog. With proper instructions we are happy to accommodate your dogs dietary and supplement routines.
Pet Sitting & Dog Walking FAQ
A: We service the following areas of Washington state: Maple Valley, Covington, parts of Kent and the Fairwood area of Renton, WA.
A:please provide us with a key at the initial meeting. We can return it after the petsit or keep it on file for the next visits. Some people give me access to lock boxes where the key is kept.
A:Yes, we are experienced at giving medications for both cats and dogs. This includes pills, nebulizers, and insulin shots. During our initial meeting it is helpful to see your procedure of giving medicine.
A: Yes, please leave directions on which plants and the frequency of watering.
A: You will meet the person who will be caring for your pet during our initial meeting. Sometimes two of us will come to the meeting so you can meet the back up person if necessary. You will have one dedicated pet care individual and a backup individual to ensure that you never are without care for your dog/cat/pet.
A: Yes, we do care for both birds and fish.
A: Yes, let us know your garbage/recycle schedule so we get the cans in and out in the proper time. Also, please leave us a mail key if your mailbox is locked.
A: Yes, please just leave directions on which plants should be watered, the amount of water, and the frequency of watering needed.

A: Yes, please contact Maryellen at 206-249-1697 to discuss starting up a group class or for individual instruction.
